Background
Football generates an ocean of data every match, goals, assists, clean sheets, passes, shots, and more. Setpiece Analytics was built to turn that data into clarity. From predicting the next goal scorer to evaluating a team’s chances of victory, Setpiece provides actionable insights for fantasy managers, coaches, analysts, and fans alike.
The challenge was translating a highly technical, data-heavy platform into a brand that feels precise, credible, and approachable. The identity needed to reflect intelligence without intimidation, and authority without coldness.
The Approach
Setpiece Analytics needed a brand that communicates confidence, accuracy, and usability. We designed a visual identity that mirrors the platform’s analytical rigor. At the center of the system is a modern wordmark paired with a unique logo: an "S" formed by two rotated goalposts, subtly referencing the sport while symbolizing structure, strategy, and insight. Clean typography and a color system built for clarity and hierarchy ensure complex data can be digested with ease.
The messaging framework positions Setpiece as the go-to hub for insights and predictions. Copy across campaigns, notifications, and social media emphasizes precision, relevance, and the thrill of informed decision-making. Consistency across touchpoints, from the web platform to marketing materials, reinforces trust and professionalism, while making the brand instantly recognizable to football enthusiasts and professionals alike.
