Background
Westerfield College is a sixth-form institution operating in the UK and Nigeria, offering A-level and foundation programs that prepare students for admission into top-tier universities worldwide. With a reputation for academic excellence, the college needed to communicate its premium positioning to students, parents, and educational partners through engaging, visually compelling materials.
While the core brand identity was already established, Westerfield required strategic design support to amplify its presence and connect with its audiences across multiple touchpoints. The goal was to create materials that were visually consistent, appealing, and reinforced the college’s authority and approachability.
Our Approach
During my collaboration with Westerfield College, I focused on translating the college’s academic prestige into tangible design assets. Key projects included:
- Merchandise Design: Designing branded apparel and accessories that reinforced school pride and identity.
- Yearbook Design: Crafting a visually cohesive yearbook that celebrated student achievements while reflecting the college’s ethos.
- Marketing Materials: Designing printed trifold leaflets distributed to 575,000 homes across the UK, outdoor marketing materials, and social media campaigns to drive awareness and engagement.
Each design was carefully crafted to balance professionalism and approachability, ensuring that the college’s communications were engaging, credible, and visually appealing. Across all touchpoints, the designs reinforced Westerfield’s positioning as a world-class preparatory institution while maintaining consistency with the existing brand identity.
